My short story “Common Magick” has been released in audio format as part of the new audio book for Passages, New Myths‘ Best of Anthology, Volume 1.
“Common Magick” is one of my older stories – a fun and creepy tale about a demon-conjuring chambermaid who works at a girls’ boarding school. When the girls start learning magick, Miranda is eager to gain some of that power for herself, no matter the cost.
The team at New Myths has spent a long time working on the audio for Passages, which contains 25 stories and eight poems from the magazine’s first few years. I really loved how they captured the demon’s voice for “Common Magick”!
The paperback version of the anthology was published in 2018, and is still available on Amazon if you prefer to read that way. The audio version will be free for a limited time with an Audible or Barnes & Noble subscription.
