I recently received my contributor copies for Underland Arcana Issue 5 and Megara Publishing’s The Haunted Quill.
Underland Arcana’s February Issue contains my story “The Witches’ Parliament,” an alternate history piece featuring Benjamin Disraeli, while The Haunted Quill contains my story “La Orpheline,” which originally appeared in Beneath Ceaseless Skies.
I especially love the tarot card the staff at Underland Arcana sent me – it’s the king of cups. The magazine is tarot-focused and I thought it was a really nice personalized touch!
The layout for The Haunted Quill was very professional. I love the simple line drawings they commissioned for each of the stories. This was my first story solicitation, and while I was a bit hesitant at first, as Megara Publishing is a new company and not one I was familiar with, I think they did an excellent job with this anthology. I’m excited to add these two to my shelf of contributor copies!
